Job Title: Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Reports to: Production Manager

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm or 7:30am-4pm, OT as required

Job Summary: Inspects and verifies records of incoming and outgoing shipments and generates paperwork for further processing.

Job duties:

• Receives and unloads customer parts and raw materials with forklifts and pallet jacks
• Checks for damaged goods
• Verifies quantity and quality of order
• Verifies items received with purchase order
• Inspects outgoing parts for completeness and adequate package prior to loading
• Other duties may be required, flexibility is a must.

 Candidate Requirements: 

• Production/manufacturing 1 years 
• Must be able to stand, crouch, kneel 
• Must be able to work efficiently in a wide range of temperature conditions
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required, occasionally with little notice
• Must be able to follow job order instructions
• Ability to communicate with leaders and teammates in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Focused effort and attention to detail to produce a quality product each and every time.
• 18 years of age.

Job Requirements:

Physical:

• Combination of sitting in office environment and standing on concrete factory floor.
• Must be able to wear steel toed safety shoes, safety glasses and other PPE equipment as required for work function.
• Ability to safely reach, stretch, bend and lift parts and product from a standing position (up to 50lbs individually & 100 lb team lifts)
• Overhead lifting of various parts

Tools / Equipment: 

• Sit-down forklift 

Working Conditions: (shifts, environment):  Climate controlled Office Environment (75%), Non-Climate controlled factory environment (20%), Outdoor Environment (5%)
