We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our animal care team. In this role, you check-in our patients, update their records and owner information, schedule appointments, and process payments. You may also be asked to help prepare prescriptions or provide home-care instructions to pet owners. Candidates pursuing a career in veterinary medicine or who hold their veterinary technician certification are preferred. Excellent customer service and computer skills are required.

Veterinary Client Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check-in patients
• Gather and certify pet and owner information
• Maintain records
• Schedule appointments
• Process payments
• Facilitate retail sales
• Prepare prescriptions and explain instructions as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Veterinary Client Service Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with ezyVet is a plus
• Proficient and comfortable with technology
• Experience providing client service in a veterinary environment is preferred
• Excellent client service skills
• Basic math skills and computer literacy
• Comfortable working with animals
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day.
• Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records; recognizes people and understands written directions.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone.
• Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing office equipment such as facsimile machines, copiers and computer keyboards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
