Responsibilities include keeping records updated, preparing reports and reconciling statements. You will run accounting software programs to process transactions, like accounts payable and receivable. A successful account assistant should be familiar with all accounting procedures. Ultimately, ensure that the company’s accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of accounts payable clearing processes (required).
• Experience with QuickBooks (preferred).
• Maintaining a personal system of organization.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with little to no supervision.
• Filing, scanning, digital scanning and purging of files, as needed.
• General data entry and upkeep of our databases, as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
