Great Expressions Dental Centers is Hiring a Learning & Development Facilitator Near Southfield, MI

What you’ll do… In support of the Great Expressions Dental Centers Learning and Development Department, the Facilitator, Learning and Development is responsible for supporting the execution of the GEDC Learning and Development Strategy, which includes aligning existing Learning and Development curricula with the GEDC Office Builder Program, OM Professional Development and standardizing operating procedures across the enterprise. The Facilitator will also collaborate with the Senior LMS Administrator and other business leaders to assess the current curricula to determine relevance and impact to GEDC in the present day, identifying ways to fill high-leverage gaps in the curricula. The Facilitator, Learning and Development will coordinate and facilitate professional development programs and provide guidance and mentorship to fellow GEDC Team Members and subject matter experts (SME’s) assisting with facilitation. The Facilitator will drive company growth through collaborating with Area Managers, Vice Presidents of Operations, PSC Management and other Team Members to build new content and review current content. This position is located at our corporate office in Southfield, MI (four days in the office and one day working remotely). The Facilitator, Learning and Development will use a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate adult learning styles and facilitate training. This position requires an innovative thinker who is highly motivated, willing to travel, and has a strong passion to educate our Team Members on key aspects of how to fully perform the essential duties of their roles in support of the GEDC go forward strategic plan. A major objective of the Learning & Development department is to support the Operations Team to standardize operations, utilizing data to determine priorities and implement effective training with measurable business and patient impact. Coordinate and help facilitate in-person professional developmentManage New Hire Orientation and continuous improvement of New Hire Orientation; utilize survey data and report data to the Senior Director, Learning & Development monthlyPartner with the Learning & Development team to review and organize current learning content resourcesCoordinate and train existing Team Members to be able to effectively train their Team Members; provide feedback to Team Members who facilitate training for the organization to mentor and provide guidance regarding Learning & Development expectations for facilitatorsWork with the Sr. Director, Learning & Development and Area Operations Managers (AOMs) to plan visits to dental offices to see how dental offices operate and learn more about the heart of our businessCollaborate with Operations Leadership and Practice Support Center (PSC) leaders to analyze data to identify both best practices and improvement opportunities to support a fully-performing Team Member in every practice-based job.The ability to travel locally and/or nationally as needed (10%-15%); will process facilitate and/or facilitate, help with setup, breakdown, curricula development as needed for meetings and/or training events held regionallyValidate new curricula, integrating feedback from internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and testing program design to optimize and continuously improve program delivery and the overall effectiveness of the Team Members’ learning experience.Manage and report on attendance for all meetings and courses providedAssist in system implementation, including but not limited to affiliation integration, software system conversions and upgrades, and workflow process implementationAll other tasks requested by ManagerConsult with SMEs and other GEDC Team Members as neededCoordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs and equipmentSupport with institutionalizing the Provider Journey to provide a pathway for clinical mentorship, skill development, and career progressionWhat you’ll bring to the team… Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with technology: ability to learn and use a variety of computer systems, including MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and SmartsheetAble to analyze problems and strategize for better solutionsProficient with Zoom virtual training platform, including annotations, polls and other features to enhance engagement with virtual trainingAbility and passion for delivering professional and engaging presentations to small or large groups of people through various mediums (instructor-led, virtual and in-person)Must have excellent organization, time and project management skills, with an ability to work independently and proactivelyCommitted to excellence, strong work ethic and ability to multitask/manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem solving skills and demonstrated customer service skillsFamiliarity with various learning types and training methods including; on-the-job, role play, lectures, instructor led (in person and virtual), synchronous and asynchronous e-learningWhat we require you have… Bachelor Degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or any other related fieldMinimum of three (3) years working experience in a training and development and/or HR capacityMinimum of three (3) years facilitation experience (in person and virtual)Certification from talent or training associations is a plusActive participation in professional organizations is a plusMust be able to travel 10% – 15%
