About Us: Renovating KC Design Remodel is on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Construction Manager to oversee our projects from conception to completion. We're all about transforming spaces with quality and creativity, and we need someone who shares our passion for bringing renovation dreams to life.

Role Overview:
As our go-to Construction Manager, you'll be the captain of the ship for our construction projects. Your days will be packed with self performing, planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting activities. You'll work closely with architects, clients, and our in-house team to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and above expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and the rest of the team to ensure clarity and progress.
  • Budget management, because we all know numbers don’t manage themselves.
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and keep those deadlines in sharp focus.
  • Solve problems on the fly - construction is full of surprises, and we need you to be our solution guru.
  • Communicate effectively with everyone involved. A happy team is a productive team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction management or a similar role. At least 2 years.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. Be a talker and a listener.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, from A to Z.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes and regulations.
  • Leadership skills that inspire the team and keep the project moving.
  • Problem-solving mindset – ready to tackle any challenge with a cool head.
