Overview

Great Day Improvements - Learning and Development Leader

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Leader to spearhead the creation and implementation of innovative training programs that align with our Great Day Way and culture. Your primary focus will be on fostering leadership development, utilizing gamification and adult learning systems, coordinating compliance training, and consulting on critical skill career paths across sales, sales management, operations, marketing, and overall business leadership.

As the Leader of Learning and Development, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating talent and enhancing employee capabilities to drive organizational success. You will partner with our Director of Culture, Community and Communication as well as Talent Acquisition and strategic HR and business leaders with align to our CPO and our C Suite.

Responsibilities

· Design and implement comprehensive learning strategies and programs, integrating leadership development, gamification, and adult learning methodologies.

· Assess individual and organizational development needs, tailoring programs to support various brands and distinct business requirements.

· Deploy diverse learning methods (coaching, job-shadowing, online training) to enhance engagement and learning effectiveness.

· Coordinate compliance training initiatives and curate content from subject matter experts to ensure adherence to industry regulations.

· Collaborate with our leaders cross-business and our Director of Culture, Communications, and Community to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational culture and community engagement efforts.

· Oversee budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to optimize LMS and training resources.

· Lead and influence Value Capture Teams, new initiatives, and business ventures in developing learning and development strategies.

Qualifications

· Experience in Learning and Development management or a related role, demonstrating expertise in leadership development and adult learning methodologies. With a track record of demonstrated leadership of creation,

rollout and execution of programs with meaningful impact on the development of talent and a talent pipeline and adoption of a culture of learning utilizing an LMS and skills development.

· Proven track record in designing and implementing learning and development programs, including experience with gamification and e-learning platforms.

· Experience in training within a sales and construction-centric culture, understanding both sophisticated business models and more hands-on, kinetic learning environments.

· Strong influencer with a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and fostering strong, trusted relationships.

· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets effectively.

· Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and a passion for establishing an innovative LMS that meets our organizational needs.

· Proficiency in producing modern, branded digital and traditional learning materials.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.

· Business-oriented mindset with a degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).

· Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and accommodate a flexible schedule to support organizational needs.
