Great American Dining is Hiring a Front Desk Associate Near Plymouth, NH

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Front Desk Associate is a key individual in achieving the goals and quality standards of the Inn. As such, the Associate will need proficient skills in communication, sales, guest relations and computers. As a team player you will assist in reaching monthly sales goals and maintaining procedural compliance. Flexibility is a must with scheduling as well as assisting other departments to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Time management and the ability to multi-task are necessary as projects will be assigned and you will need to ensure all daily duties are carried out.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform all duties related to guest reservations, check-in & out guests, in-house guest requests, following shift check lists, answering telephones, guest concierge needs, security of property, etc.
  2. Follow assigned shift procedures and complete them in a timely manner to ensure that the highest standards of hospitality are achieved.
  3. Address all customer issues immediately using TCMF “LATE” method.
  4. Assist other departments as needed (i.e. this may include making beds, fixing toilets etc.)
  5. Be proactive in selling while meeting the customers’ needs. Up-sell rooms and packages at every opportunity.
  6. In depth knowledge of the Inn’s layout of rooms, amenities and local attractions.
  7. Adhere to all Inn safety procedures and policies.
  8. Accuracy on all reservations is a must and should be verified.
  9. Phone etiquette should be professional, courteous and personable.
  10. Adhere to policies regarding keys, cash and guest information to guarantee security.
  11. Guest privacy is of the highest importance.
  12. Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
