Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented hospitality- minded Restaurant Supervisor to join our management team. In this role, you will lead restaurant service operations by making sure your team is set up for success and all guest-service standards are being exceeded.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the event inquiries and event set up. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully, from the initial inquiry to execution.

Responsibilities:

- Act as manager-on-duty during service hours, and in the absence of the General Manager and Bar Manager

-Open and Close the restaurant, ensuring the team is completing opening and closing checklists

-Respond to all event inquires within 48 hours
- Plan and coordinate various events such as weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings
- Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Partner with GM, Bar Manager and marketing team to ensure event needs are established and prioritized efficiently
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers for event services
- Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring all expenses stay within the allocated budget
- Coordinate catering services, including menu selection and setup
- Provide excellent guest services to ensure a positive experience for all attendees
- Upsell additional services or amenities to enhance the event experience
- Oversee all aspects of event setup and execution: including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of events

Skills:
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management for events
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively
- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms
- Experience in banquet operations and catering services is a plus

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Keen eye for detail

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
