Position Opening: Director
Position Summary: Responsible for directing, coordinating, overseeing and leading the Supply
Chain in all departmental matters relating to finance, planning, organizing, development of
goals/objectives, development of policies and procedures, compliance with laws/standard/regulation,
quality management, education, information services, national and regional group purchasing
activities, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, human resource management, and
disposable of surplus equipment and supplies. Acts as a resource for contractual negotiations, and
directs the Value analysis program. This position oversees the organization’s Operational
Improvement Plan and LEAN initiatives.
Job Requirements: Five years management expertise within hospital Materials Management
Department and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or ten years management expertise
within hospital Materials Management Department. Training in LEAN or equivalent methodology
preferred.
Time Schedule: Full Time: XX 1.0 FTE Primarily 8:00am-4:30pm
