Position Opening: Director
Annual Salary Range: $93,600 - $124,800
Position Summary: Responsible for identifying the education needs of Harbor Regional Health
(HRH) Community Hospital, designing a plan to meet those needs and coordinating the identified
educational activities for employees. Works collaboratively with department managers to insure
education needs are met. Serves as role model, educator/instructor and resource person for HRH
Community Hospital. Is responsible for staffing and budgeting for department including decisions on
LMS for both the Hospital and Harbor Medical Group. Coordinate requested community education
Job Requirements: Current WA state RN license; Masters in Education or Nursing required;
Minimum 5 years’ experience in education or previous leadership/supervisory experience with
minimum 5 years of general nursing experience; Current BLS; First Aid instructor certification; ACLS
certification preferred; Knowledge in applying Adult Learning Principles with demonstrated excellent
communication skills in a variety of disciplines.
