Experience:
7 years of project management experience. Experience managing large-scale software implementationprojects. Experience managing multiple projects or programs, Experience with projects in multipletechnologies and functions. Experience documenting technical and business requirement specifications.
Additional desired skills:
oAbility to act as the primary Project Manager for the School Choice Portal project. Works with thePMO Manager to determine and distribute assignments.
oPossesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies andtools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
oUnderstands complex web-based computer applications and has the ability to guide programmingstaff through projects.
oAbility to document business and technical requirements and processes that can be understood andused by other technical staff.

C.Deliverables/TasksThe Project Manager will be responsible for overall management of all IT application related projects to include:
Understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technicalsolutions.Coordinating, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
Establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies for IT staff to ensureprojects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customerexpectations.Assembling project plans, creating, and managing teamwork assignments. Directing and monitoring workefforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional,quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
Coordinating tests for the developed objects / processes.
Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet theneeds of customers.
Creates and executes unit test plans and test cases. Assists the client with acceptance testing prior toproduction implementation.
Ensuring compliance to standards through code walkthroughs and metadata reports.
Understanding and following source code promotion processes.
