Granite Family Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Hooksett, NH

Granite Family Dentistry is seeking a committed, caring, professional dental assistant to add to our team! We are a busy one doctor general practice. Candidate must have previous dental experience with the ability to comfortably perform chairside duties. Radiology certified is a must. We're all about collaboration and creating a supportive environment. You'll be part of a team that feels more like a family than coworkers.

Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail.

  • Welcome patients in the dental office
  • Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Digital scanning and impressions
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Making temporary crowns for patients
  • Radiology certified
