Grand Street Property Management LLC is Hiring a Jr Accountant Near Jersey, NJ
Accounting Experience a MUST.
We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the Accounting department.
- Maintain financial and payroll records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded utilizing generally accepted accounting practices.
- Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
- Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Perform month, quarterly and year end closing
- Prepare and edit journal entries
- Review and prepare accounting entries
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and understanding of financial statements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel is necessary.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, and meet established deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Should be autonomous able to work with little or no supervision.
- Accounts Receivable including Collections & Billing
- Accounts Payable
- Yardi/Voyager/Rent Cafe System knowledge is a MUST.
