Job Details Job Location Grand Palms Resort - Surfside Beach, SC Position Type Seasonal Description The Activity Attendant is responsible for running daily resort activities with the guests. Must be friendly, outgoing and creative. Attendant will help create new activities, plan for activities and facilitate. Responsible for keeping track of inventory items and notifying manager of items to reorder. Must be good with children of all ages and large groups. Must be detail oriented, neat, and have the ability to multi task. Activity attendant is responsible for keeping guests entertained and providing them with an exceptional vacation experience. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Employee may have to push, pull, reach and bend. Lifting items up to 15 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment, but will exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature daily. WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
