To perform office and accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting and protection of all company assets. Essential Job Functions:
Prepares and processes journal entries, monthly reconciliation on accounts and documentation.
Performs general ledger account analysis for all balance sheet accounts monthly.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Analyzes Departmental financial statements at month end reviewing for accuracy and completeness.
Analyzes and tests monthly financials to ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP), and internal accounting policies.
Perform daily banking and monthly reconciliations.
Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintain a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures, which includes the use of safety equipment. Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor of unsafe conditions, as directed.
Attendance: reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work.
Performs all responsibilities in compliance with the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, Nevada Gaming Regulations, and various federal and state regulations and changes in regulations.
Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Keeps supervisor informed of any concerns.
Assists the Finance team in various other responsibilities and performs various duties and special projects as assigned.
