Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and accounting experience.

A minimum of four years of experience in accounting or financial business operations and supervisory experience in casino accounting plus.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be fluent and literate in English.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Access).

Must have four years of experience in month-end closes and preparing financial reports.

• Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising their direct reports.
• Implements financial policies and reporting practices and prepares financial accounting reports, budgets, and tax returns, as directed by the NNV Director of Finance.
• Prepares financial accounting reports and budgets.
• Communicates and assists with budgeting requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of regulations from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
• Ensure compliance, company internal controls, and company policies and procedures are followed.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate and adequately documented accounting entries.
• Maintains and oversees month-end closing schedule and timeliness and accuracy.
• Assists with daily audits, counts, and any other task that needs to be completed.
• Prepares reports or special projects as requested by management.
