The Facilities Tech is an essential member of the team, ensuring safe, well-maintained clubs for members. Our Facilities Techs are self-motivated, "handy" individuals with knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and repair work. Tech’s possess and have experience using a variety of hand and power tools. Your experience and problem-solving skills will ensure a 5-star membership experience. Veterans welcomed!
The Facilites Tech will be responsible for clubs in Christiansburg, Salem, Roanoke Orange and Roanoke Towers, Lynchburg and Charlottesville.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Use your vehicle to travel to assigned clubs to perform basic maintenance.
- Perform facility upkeep and repairs such as drywall patching, painting, finish carpentry, electrical, and plumbing for assigned locations.
- Maintain and repair fitness, tanning and spa equipment independently while abiding by manufacturer & safety regulations.
- Work with Facility Coordinator and partner with outside vendors to schedule maintenance as needed.
- Updating work order software system to ensure timely repairs/resolutions with accurate description.
- comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Requirements
Must have reliable work vehicle and standard tools
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 75lbs
- Must be able to climb ladder and step ladder.
- Good time management skills
- Must have basic computers skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be18 years or older
This role is subject to successful completion of a background check, after offer acceptance. All background screens will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
