Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort is Hiring a Maintenance Manager Near Larchwood, IA

The Maintenance Manager will work closely with the EVS Manager and Facilities Director in the day-to-day management of the facility and maintenance staff. Maintenance Managers are in charge of coordinating and supporting the plant maintenance personnel and contractors to achieve safe, efficient completion of the workload and meeting the needs of all customers both internal and external. This position is responsible and accountable for developing preventative and proactive maintenance methods and schedules to maximize equipment integrity and
minimize downtime.

Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, listening and feedback communications.
Promote, Enforce and Execute a safety oriented work environment ensuring all company policies and procedures
are implemented and followed.
Provide accurate and concise written and verbal reports to Facility Director and other Management as required.
Supervise professional, technical and support staff on a day-to-day basis, including determining workloads and
schedules, evaluating and training staff, approving and making hiring and termination recommendations.
Responsible for performance management of all direct reports.
Maintain confidential, accurate documentation on employee performance while coaching, mentoring and
encouraging performance excellence utilizing S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic,
Timely) and following up with periodic performance evaluations and discussions.
Work within the guidelines of an approved budget, providing input and recommendations for future budget needs.
Provide daily work assignments and follow up satisfactory completion through inspections and the utilization of
our CMMS (computerized maintenance management software) system.
Maintain accurate timekeeping records and verifying and approving payroll requirements for your staff.
Contact contractors and vendors directly when needed to assist in troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment
and facilities.
Direct, Monitor and Maintain critical facility systems including: electrical, geothermal, water, HVAC, plumbing,
and carpentry.
Review auditable documents and daily readings of pool equipment to ensure compliance with state and local codes.
Assist in preparing for and executing any and all regulatory documents,inspections and or requirements.
Be attentive to the conditions of the building and alert to potential guest safety issues.
Research and provide information pertaining to facility improvement and capital projects.
Assist in establishing and maintaining an organized and orderly critical spare parts inventory.
Understand the needs of a 24/7 facility and be prepared and available for emergency call in requirements to support
the needs of your staff and the facility.
Maintain a positive "can-do", "whatever it takes" attitude fostering teamwork and camaraderie between every
department, employee, and guest at Grand Falls Casino Resort.
