PERMITS COORDINATOR
DIVISION: DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION | POSITION CODE: EXEMPT |
SUPERVISES: PERMITS AND UTILITY COORDINATION | REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND OTHER PROJECT STAFF AS ASSIGNED |
EXPERIENCE: One or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Work experience in design, construction, and/or with a regulatory agency regarding utilities and/or building permits preferred.
EDUCATION: High School or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Administration or a related field is desired. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
SKILLS: Intermediate knowledge of Windows/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word. Basic knowledge of Prolog or other Project Management software. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Suretrack and Microsoft Project desired. Experience with any online submission platforms for various permitting and authorities having jurisdiction is desired.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: OSHA 10 hour certification required (must obtain within 3 months of hire).
