Responsible for the daily operations of Housekeeping, Public Areas, and Laundry. Directs and works with employees to verify property guest rooms, public space, and employee areas are clean and well maintained.
Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily department operations and verify compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures
Set daily performance goals for the team
Inspect guest rooms and public space to ensure areas are clean and well maintained
Inventory stock to verify adequate supply, order as needed
Create weekly schedule based on business demand, track employee time and attendance
Supervise staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met; hire as needed
Train, supervise, and support employees on Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Bed Bugs
Conduct departmental meetings and continually communicate a clear, consistent message to achieve goals
Participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction
Maintain performance management program to ensure employees are regularly evaluated, trained, and coached
Guide and motivate employees to provide excellent customer service
Resolve guest complaints and accommodate reasonable requests
Manage situations that arise during Manager on Duty shift
