Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources/Payroll Manager to join our team at Granbury Rehab & Nursing. As the HR/Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources department, including employee relations, resident and their family's relations, as well as compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS systems and possess excellent communication and leadership skills with both employees and residents and their responsible parties.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns
- Administer performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems such as Workday
- Ensure accurate account reconciliation for payroll processing
- Collaborate with finance department for accounts receivable and tax-related matters
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in human resources role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday
This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
