Grammarly team members in this role must be based in the United States, and they must be able to collaborate in person 2 weeks per quarter, traveling if necessary to the hub(s) where the team is based.

The opportunity

Grammarly is the world’s leading AI writing assistance company trusted by over 30 million people and 70,000 professional teams every day. From instantly creating a first draft to perfecting every message, Grammarly’s product offerings help people at 96% of the Fortune 500 get their point across—and get results. Grammarly has been profitable for over a decade because we’ve stayed true to our values and built an enterprise-grade product that’s secure, reliable, and helps people do their best work—without selling their data. We’re proud to be one of Inc.’s best workplaces, a Glassdoor Best Place to Work, one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies, and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in AI.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Demand Generation Team. The person in this role will be responsible for organizing, tracking, and coordinating Demand Generation campaigns, events, and webinars by creating comprehensive schedules and action plans for both internal and external teams. Their tasks will include managing all project assets from their inception to maintenance to ensure everything remains current and accessible. By closely collaborating with cross-functional teams and creative agencies, they will oversee the successful execution of large initiatives, fostering strong relationships with key departments such as Events, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Brand Design to guarantee project alignment and success. This Project Manger will maintain clear and consistent communication across all project stages, leading weekly stand-ups to keep all involved parties informed of progress. Additionally, they will work in tandem with the Demand Gen Program Manager to manage project resources effectively, proactively address challenges to keep projects on track, and support the Program Manager in enhancing organizational practices within the team and beyond.

Your impact

As Project Manager, you will be tasked with the dynamic responsibility of managing multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own unique set of stakeholders, scopes, and timelines. Your ability to effectively communicate with your team, providing them with regular updates on tasks, upcoming milestones, and project developments, is crucial, all while ensuring information is presented in a manageable and digestible manner. Adaptability is key, as you will need to swiftly pivot strategies in response to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, you will navigate and resolve any conflicts or disagreements in processes, employing creative solutions to achieve successful outcomes.

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for understanding and integrating into our dynamic team environment. They should be adaptable, proactive, and eager to take on challenges that contribute to our project's success and overall team goals.

The timeline for expected accomplishments includes:

  • First 30 Days: The initial month is critical for onboarding. You will be expected to fully understand our team's roles, structure, and the current projects and goals we are working toward. This foundational knowledge is crucial for effective collaboration and contribution to our team's efforts.
  • First 90 Days: Within three months, you should be prepared to take over the execution of Grammarly for Business and Grammarly for Education webinars. This responsibility transition will come after a detailed handoff from the Sr. Program Manager, ensuring that you are well equipped to manage these projects successfully.
  • First 6 Months: By the half-year mark, we anticipate that you will have progressed to confidently take on the execution of Field Events. This will involve collaborating with the events team to kick off detailed planning, coordination, and implementation to ensure these events run smoothly and achieve their objectives.
  • One Year and Beyond: Looking toward the long term, you will collaborate closely with the Program Manager to identify and implement strategies to streamline processes across all types of projects. This ongoing effort will be based on insights gained from the year's progress and in response to team expansion, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our project management practices.

This role is suited for a driven individual who is keen to grow with our team and take on increasing responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate should be ready to contribute to our success from day one and be motivated by the opportunity to evolve their skills and responsibilities.
