Grafton Regional Development Corporation is Hiring a Grant Administrator Near Plymouth, NH

Job Overview:

This position plays crucial role in supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs by managing the a grant program and providing other organizational support. This position involves coordinating client interactions, researching resources, handling financial information, ensuring compliance with grant policies, and coordinating meetings as needed.

This is a temporary role to be filled for the length of a grant (May-Sept) but could become longer term employment.

Location:

This is a hybrid position with one day in the Plymouth office, remote work, and some in person client meetings throughout the week.

Responsibilities:

Client Intakes:

○ Schedule and conduct client intake sessions.

○ Engage one-on-one with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.

○ Identify suitable candidates and assess eligibility for microenterprise program

○ Keep detailed notes about the needs of and actions taken for each client.

Resource Research:

○ Conduct thorough research to identify relevant resources, services, and opportunities for clients.

○ Collaborate with external organizations, agencies, and partners to connect clients with appropriate support.

Grant Administration:

○ Manage equipment grant applications, approvals, and disbursements.

○ Ensure adherence to grant guidelines and policies.

○ Handle invoicing and financial transactions related to equipment grants.

Equipment Procurement:

○ Facilitate the purchase of equipment or materials funded by grants.

○ Coordinate with vendors, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:

○ Prepare regular grant reports, including financial summaries and impact assessments.

○ Maintain accurate records of grant-related activities.

○ Track technical assistance spending and report back on measurable goals.

○ Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to provide updates

Administrative support:

○ Provide administrative support to convene meetings, prepare and distribute agendas and meeting materials, take meeting minutes and other support for organizational meetings as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, common office equipment, and interest in learning new software applicable to the position.

o Desire to support our communities in Grafton County.

o Ability to work independently and with a team.

o Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to meetings within Grafton County and occasionally other areas of New Hampshire.

o Ability to lift 10 pounds.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
