SUMMARY :
The Ultrasonographer, under the direction of a Radiologist, performs total body imaging for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in various body planes which results in the production of quality images for diagnostic interpretation. Sonographic studies include, but are not limited to: abdomen, vascular, non-pregnant pelvic, and small parts. Provides patient care that is essential to ultrasound imaging, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action, and initiates life support measures. Assists in the optimization of patient flow and study completion.
