I have an immediate need for an in-home special ed adult reading & writing tutor to meet at the Cecil County Public Library -Elkton Branch at 301 Neward Ave in Elkton. The student is a 30 year old with a developmental disability. He wants to work with a tutor to learn to read and write.

He has very basic skills and struggles with the simplest of information. He will need to begin at pre-k / kindergarten level and work up from there. He is not currently reading or writing in any capacity at this time.

His overall goal is to be able to master basic reading and writing skills.

He wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week on Monday and Wednesday between 4pm-7pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to faceat the Cecil County Public Library -Elkton Branch at 301 Neward Ave in Elkton.
• Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week on Monday and Wednesday between 4pm-7pm.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
