I have an immediate need for an in-home pre-k ELA/reading tutor in Portsmouth not far from the USS Albacore Museum. The student is in Pre-K at Saint Patrick Academy. He needs to work with a tutor for ELA, specifically for reading.

The student is currently behind his expected reading level. He struggles with letter recognition and reading comprehension as a whole. Additionally, he is soft-spoken and sometimes feels shy when reading. Moreover, he requires assistance with sight words. His mother would love for a tutor to come in and assess where some of his struggle areas are, while working through his weekly assignments.

Mom's goal for her son is for him to be reading at grade level by the time he reaches Kindergarten.

The family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week. They are available from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work face to face at the student's home in Portsmouth not far from the USS Albacore Museum.
• Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4pm-7am, Tuesday or Wednesday or Friday.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
