Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.00 Hourly

CNA 2nd Shift

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Are you a CNA who has a passion for working with the elderly?

 Do you have experience in long-term care/assisted living settings? Are you a new CNA?

We have a place for you at Grace Village Retirement Community!

You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

As a CNA at Grace Village Retirement Community, you will:

  • Participate in nursing reports and take detailed notes
  • Help residents with personal hygiene activities, turning, lifting, and positioning them when needed
  • Assist residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.), with bath functions (i.e., bed, bathtub or shower bath, etc.) and with hair care functions (i.e., combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.)
  • Change bed linens--Keep linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under the resident
  • Assist resident with bowel and bladder functions (i.e., take to bathroom, offer bedpan/urinal, portable commode, etc.)
  • Assist residents in preparing for activity and social programs

You must have:

  • A current license or credential to work as a CNA in the State of Indiana
  • COVID vaccination record, unless an approved exemption is presented upon hiring
  • A professional, team-player attitude-a desire to help people and work with a team to make it happen.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A desire to build meaningful relationships with residents through day-to-day interactions
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • The ability to engage others in fun and creative activities

Benefits


Benefits:

Pay based on experience at $0.25/hour per year up to a maximum of $5.00/hour.

Shift Diff of $1.50/hour and Weekend Diff of $1.00 on Saturdays and Sundays, pick up bonuses may apply.

Refer a friend after 90 days and receive a bonus up to $600 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply.
