Full Time Job Description

Grace Academy is looking for a HS English teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The HS English teacher will possess the following qualities:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Education (preferred) from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Hold an ACSI certificate or willing to participate in a program to complete the requirements for certification in a specified time period.
  • Have past experience and/or capable of teaching English Language Arts.
  • Demonstrate technology skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. RenWeb experience a plus

Education Qualities

  • Teach classes and plan for the school year as assigned following the prescribed scope and sequence and objectives as scheduled by the administration
  • Provide an effective classroom management system
  • Regularly assess the learning of students, and provide progress reports as required
  • Maintain regular and accurate records of attendance and grades to meet the demands for a comprehensive knowledge of each student’s progress

Job Type: Full-time, Contract
