GRABLE CPA & COMPANY is Hiring a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Near Evansville, IN

Grable CPA & Company is a locally owned and operated public accounting firm. We specialize in bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll and wealth management. We are headquartered on the West Side of Evansville and centrally located right in the heart of Franklin Street. At Grable CPA & Company we believe that each individual client has specific needs and we strive to provide a tailored service to each and every one. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 2-5 years experience to join our rapidly growing firm.

This individual would perform and/or assist other staff with the following:

Duties/Responsibilities:
● Preparing federal and state income tax returns and supporting workpapers. Assist the owner review tax returns prepared by other staff.
● Performing tax planning for clients and preparing tax estimates and related payment requests and vouchers
● Reconciling income tax accounts and deferred tax items
● Researching Federal & State issues regarding business or personal tax accounts
● Preparing responses and supporting documents for client-related audits
● Ability to assist staff with bookkeeping and tax filings for clients on a monthly basis
● Preparing journal entries to help with reconciliations and month-end close processes
● Preparing and provide monthly financial reports to clients
● Assisting other staff with payroll tax issues and setups
● Assisting clients with ad-hoc audit requests and other relevant requests
● Ability to cultivate positive professional relationships with clients and correspond with them on requests in a timely manner.

Requirements:
● Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA Certification
● 2 ability to travel to other office locations upon request to support staff
● 2 years of tax experience
● 2 years of experience with QuickBooks accounting software
● Basic proficiency in Excel and other MS office applications
● Proficient oral and written communication skills
● Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize work in a collaborative team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
