Inside/Outside Sales Rep – Lumber & Building Materials We are looking for an outgoing and energetic Inside/Outside Sales Rep in the Lumber and Building Materials industry to join our growing team! As the Inside/Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will utilize your building materials knowledge, particularly in lumber, concrete, roofing, metal and wood framing, and siding to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our client's products to customers. The Sales Rep will reach business targets through effective management of designated territories, cold calling, and physical visits to customer sites and locations. Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid Responsibilities for the Inside/Outside Sales Rep:• Ensure delivery of target sales by meeting with customers and maintaining relationships• Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential• Analyze plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distribution.• Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationships• Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting.• Remain relevant with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand shifts, and product mix.• Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teams• Develop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategies Requirements of the Inside/Outside Sales Rep:• Minimum 3-5 years of Sales experience in Building Materials or Construction• Strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, concrete, roofing, and/or precast• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers• Highly motivated and results-oriented• Strong negotiation and closing skills
