Heavy Equipment Operator

gpac is partnered with a well-established, family-owned, and operated Heavy and Civil construction company in search of a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator .

Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications :

• Competent in reading elevations from onsite markings or blueprints
• Excavator experience
• Dozer experience
• Loader experience
• Foundation excavation
• Concrete removal
• Build pad preparation.
• Sewer excavation

Preferred knowledge :

• Knowledge of grade controls- Trimble or Topcon
• Knowledge of GPS or UTS grade controls and setup

Required Experience :

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers, is required.
• Knowledge of proper equipment operation techniques and safety procedures.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
