NICET II Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems or Higher is required for this job.

Strong Work Ethic and Problem Solving specific to our Industry will be evaluated throughout a lengthy Review Process as these Technicians will be provided all that is necessary to gain further Certifications, Licensing and the like to keep up with current and future Company Goals.

Qualifications

  • Read, comprehend and apply information such as shop drawings, diagrams, schematics, submittals, manufacturers product operation and maintenance manuals
  • Client oriented and team worker, humble, who respects his(her) coworkers
  • Willingness to learn specific systems, work culture and keep up with training
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Organize and effectively use technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks
  • General math skills
  • Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Goal achievement oriented - Desire for Leadership
  • Able to travel inside the states may be required based on individual projects
  • Servicing and assisting inspections of wet, dry, standpipe, fire pump, hydrants, and pre-action sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 standards as well as national, state, and local codes
  • Permitted to work legally in the United States
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Insurable (No high risk) as determined by company vehicle insurance carrier
  • Clean Background Check
  • Pass Initial / Periodical Screening Tests
  • 3 Year Minimum SPRINKLER INSPECTION
  • NICET II - Inspection and Testing Water Based Systems

Responsibilities

  • The Fire Sprinkler Inspector is responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on fire suppression equipment
  • Completes all services following manufacturer instructions, related codes / standards, and Company policies and procedures
  • Schedules inspections with customers as required
  • Provides documentation of inspections for Company records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity required
  • Communicates discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to the Company and the customer
  • Trains Technician Trainees as assigned
  • Adheres to ALL Company Standards and Procedures, including the Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard
  • Works safely following all Company safety policies and work procedures
  • Performs other related duties as required
