gpac is Hiring a Fire alarm technician Near Iowa, IA

Job Summary :

An established and family-oriented company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fir e Alarm & Security System Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, electronic security systems, and CCTV systems, low voltage wiring.

They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they will be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

The salary offered will be dependent on candidate experience and licenses / certifications obtained.

Responsibilities :

  • Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, electronic security systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire alarm systems and components.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and repair faults.
  • Ensure fire alarm systems are compliant with current regulations.
  • Provide technical support to customers.

Qualifications :

  • 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm, electronic security, and CCTV systems.
  • Low voltage wiring experience.
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm codes and regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
