gpac is Hiring an Electronic technician Near Alexandria, LA
A well-established manufacturing company in the Farmingdale, NY area is looking for a full-time Test Technician. NY Relocation costs of $10k plus $10k sign-on bonus for right candidate.
Company willing to assist employees in finding housing.
Pay : $24-$28 / hr Annual bonuses of $3k-$5k based on KPIs and personal targets.
Qualifications
- Testing of assembled spectrometer units.
- Knowledge of using test application software’s
- Microsoft office utilities, power supplies, light sources, test equipments including multimeters, oscilloscope, function generators etc.
- Team communication desired for achieving weekly production demands.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operating and testing of OEM optics products using opto-mechanical, electronic hardware and software tools.
- Validating quality control tests for optical products.
- Assistance to Manufacturing group.
- Assistance to Service Department including trouble shooting OEM products.
- Technical school back ground required.
- Knowledge of handling optics, electronics and mechanical parts.
- Ability to read and follow test instructions for OEM products.
- Ability to use hand tools for assembly and soldering irons.
- Sufficient PC knowledge, hardware and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Most important a willingness to be a team player.
