Electrical Estimator
My client is actively seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team. Estimators play a crucial role in securing profitable electrical projects, providing accurate technical estimations from bid preparation to job closeout documentation, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electrical construction and theory acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree, or equivalent experience.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent human relations skills with a focus on confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in conceptual estimates and financial analysis.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantity takeoff and entry into estimating software.
  • Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.
  • Monitor current material pricing levels.
  • Review and estimate addenda as required.
  • Attend site walk meetings and review bid/construction schedules.
  • Draft and submit proposal documents.
  • Follow post-bid closeout procedures.
  • Attend weekly estimating team meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
