The qualified individual will plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the construction project. In this position you'll be overseeing the day-to-day operations while also effectively communicating with suppliers and subcontractors. The successful candidate will think outside the box on projects.

My client is a General Contractor in the Greater St. Louis area seeking to fill a Superintendent position. They provide construction management, design/build, and general contracting services for their clients. They focus on tilt wall, senior living/multifamily, commercial, retail, and medical projects. They are currently growing at a very high rate with an annual revenue of $120M as of 2023. They like to challenge their employees to provide innovative, top quality work on projects ranging up to $60M in value. My client values team work and establishes a collaborate mindset at the start of every project to ensure success. They are looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their team.

Description

• Assist in all aspects of the construction process.
• Schedule all trade & manpower activities for efficient work flow.
• Attend pre-bid meetings & walk-throughs, as required.
• Seek opportunities to improve project efficiency.
• Track long lead items & material procurement.
• Prepare & distribute project schedules.
• Coordinate all required inspections (municipal, material, etc.).
• Host weekly subcontractor coordination meetings & provide detailed meeting minutes.
• Hold start-up meetings with subcontractors to review scope of work, schedule & safety requirements.
• Manage efficient & timely project close-out including punch list completion, as-built review, attic stock demobilization, etc.
• Maintain and enforce current OSHA required certifications.

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a Superintendent capacity
• Experience leading $20M projects is a plus
• Ability to lead and take initiative
• Commercial construction experience
• Self-motivated individual
• Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
• Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing job sites
• Team oriented individual
• Ability to develop relationships w/ on-site teams and clients

Job Offer
