Assistant Project Manager Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will have the chance to showcase your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Your role will involve coordinating and overseeing the various aspects of construction and mechanical engineering projects. From managing timelines to ensuring quality control, you will be the superhero of project management!


What will you be doing?

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of construction projects
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure safety and compliance
  • Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to obtain necessary resources
  • Managing project documentation and ensuring accuracy and completeness


What skills do you need?

  • At least one year of experience in project management for construction or mechanical engineering projects
  • A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred
  • Knowledge of technical and administrative aspects of projects, including plans, specifications, and forms
  • The ability to solve problems and analyze situations with a detailed-oriented approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, and scheduling software
  • Adaptability and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
