Business Analyst, L&D

The GP Strategies Advisory Services Group is a leading provider of human and operational performance improvement solutions that help employers maximize the return on their investments in people, processes, technology, knowledge, and customers. The Advisory Services Group is currently looking for a Business Analyst, L&D.

We are seeking a Business Analyst for the Learning & Development project team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving organizational performance through exceptional learning and development initiatives.

Responsible for executing the strategic direction of key GP consulting services independently and within teams.Responsible for providing a full range of professional consulting activities to support key business initiatives. Effective working in geographically dispersed organizations. Key focus for this role will be providing data analytics and consultative services associated with Learning & Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the global and regional learning leaders to understand L&D program objectives and translate them into analytics requirements.
  • Develop and implement data analysis tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of L&D programs.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management highlighting the impact of L&D initiatives.
  • Analyze primary and secondary data sources to drive insights that highlights the business impact of learning, and influence L&D strategies and initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the L&D analytics process, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field with Data and Analytics focus.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in an L&D department.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • An explorer mindset, open to new ideas, adaptable, quick to experiment and learn.
  • Knowledge of L&D best practices and current trends.
