Job Description:


GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR* (Finance Department):

Reports directly to the Finance Director and is responsible for a variety of activities related to the management, compliance monitoring, administration, and financial management of federal, state and other grant programs available to Beaufort County Government; consisting of both active and inactive grants. Works with various departments and other entities to track, maintain oversight and ensure compliance with varied and complex grant requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field
  • A minimum of four (4) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of department functions, policies and procedures, customer service principles, and applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes and/or statutes.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Salary: $62,737 to $79,481 / Depending on Qualifications & Experience

Position Open Until Filled

All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation.
