GovCIO is Hiring a Project Control Specialist Near Shaw, SC

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Project Control Specialist to directly support program management. This position will be located in Sumter, SC and will be a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

Must be knowledgeable of financial and project management functions. Develops budgets and work schedules according to project requirements. Responsible for cost estimation and control. Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as needed. Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements. Maintains lines of communication among project team members. May be responsible for risk management. Must be available to address the needs of the project effort. May have acquired CAPM(PMI).

  • Reports project progress to management.
  • Responsible for addressing employee and work-related issues relevant to the project effort.
  • Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
  • Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral.
  • Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
  • Must be capable of performing various financial analytics including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Secret

Experience working in direct support of the program/project manager relating to management and administrative information and activities, such as budgeting, manpower, and resource planning and reporting

5 years’ experience with: preparing and analyzing documents/tasks and developing complex project schedules for tracking resources and other management activities; and performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues, which would require a report and recommend solution; and developing work breakdown structures, charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems and trend analysis

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $90,000.00 - USD $93,000.00 /Yr.
