GovCIO is Hiring a Data Analyst Near Washington, DC

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Data Analyst to support our customer onsite in Washington, DC. This position will be a hybrid role and will require the person to report M-W-F onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Presents and performs technique for analyzing business objectives, goals, critical success factors, business processes, system requirements, information needs, and priorities
  • Analyzes the gathered information for consistency and cross analysis
  • Determines the interactions (create, read, update or delete) between activities and data to confirm the completeness and consistency of the activity and information requirements
  • Analyzes problems and develops system requirements and specifications
  • Supports all aspects of system life cycle and studies
  • Developing and implementing an HR systems central tracking tool for tracking workforce data requests, status, and completion.
  • Communicating recommendations and updates to HR systems leadership, relevant councils and committees, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for centralizing workforce data management within HR systems.
  • Developing and implementing surveys and assessments. This may include a skills or competencies assessment.
  • Recommending, developing, and implementing systems, tools and methods for easier and faster querying and reporting of data.
  • Recommending and implementing solutions to simplify the process required to query and report data from multiple systems.
  • Recommending and implementing solutions for automating data reports for regular data requests and workforce strategic planning.
  • Benchmarking best practices across government and the private sector.
  • Gathering and analyzing workforce data, identifying issues and trends, and developing forecasts to demonstrate how the workforce will evolve over time.
  • Collaborating with and soliciting input from judiciary committees, councils and other relevant stakeholders when developing and implementing data strategies, systems, tools, and solutions.
  • Reporting data in a way that is compelling and easy to understand.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for centralizing workforce data management within HR systems.
  • Creating project plans with timelines and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years or (commensurate experience) in IT data analytics
  • Must have Managing Database/data focused and HR systems (i.e Peoplesoft, HRIS)
  • Experience assessing online tools (e.g., Atlassian and Peoplesoft, etc)
  • Experience Oracle database and web queries
  • Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire AOUSC public trust

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
