We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our legal team as a Contract Administrator. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:
    • Review, analyze, and interpret various energy manufacturing contracts, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and service agreements.
    • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Negotiate contract terms with vendors, suppliers, and customers, advocating for the company's best interests.
    • Draft and finalize contract amendments and modifications.
    • Track and manage contract milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
    • Oversee the execution of contracts, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations.
    • Maintain comprehensive and organized contract records (physical and digital) for future reference.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, sales, legal) to ensure alignment and address any contract-related concerns.
    • Maintain transparent communication with external vendors and customers regarding contract terms, updates, and potential issues.
    • Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure proper contract language and mitigate potential risks.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Utilize knowledge of the energy manufacturing industry, including specific regulations, standards, and common business practices.
    • Understand the technical aspects of energy manufacturing contracts and their impact on project execution and deliverables.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes that may affect contracts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • May assist with the development and implementation of contract management processes and procedures.
  • May participate in contract audits and risk assessments.
  • May support the procurement and sales teams in their respective contract-related activities.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a contract administrator or similar role in the energy manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with contract management software (e.g., Oracle Policy Automation, ContractPodAi) a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
