Gotham Companies is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Cath Lab setting, to join our clients hospital staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience scrubbing in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and a strong background in interventional cardiology.

**This is a 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension**

**Schedule is a 4x10 Mon-Fri with rotating on-call. 1 weekend/month**

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiology procedures
• Scrub into procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Educate staff, patients, and families on invasive cardiology procedures
• Monitor hemodynamics during procedures
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Interventional Cardiology, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician
• 1 year of experience scrubbing in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
