Job Title: General Manager/ Director of Operations

As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of Operations.

Position Overview:
As the Director of Operations, you will play a key role in the success of our dispensary by overseeing all aspects of operations, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead and inspire a team of passionate individuals, create a positive work environment, and cultivate strong relationships with customers and vendors. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail operations, and a passion for the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
• Hire, train, and mentor a team of Budtenders and support staff.
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations governing cannabis retail operations.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking products.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure product availability and quality.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in retail management or cannabis leadership (preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
• Familiarity with state and local regulations governing cannabis retail operations.
• Experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
