SUMMARY:

Gosnold is seeking a Manager of Outreach Marketing to promote and communicate the Gosnold programs, services, and brand. Qualified candidates will possess strong relationships with hospitals, behavioral health systems, the Department of Public Health, the Department of Mental Health, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is responsible for strategic planning of marketing campaigns, including managing these projects, analyzing their performance using KPIs and metrics, and communicating the results to Senior Leadership. This role will be key in helping raise public awareness of the organization, clients, and issues we serve.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance brand identity, broaden awareness of programs, and increase visibility across key stakeholder audiences.
  • Utilize cold sales, networking, link-building and blogger outreach to effectively target audience and build relationships.
  • Write, update, edit, and oversee production and design of printed materials.
  • Work with marketing staff on photography and other media for publication; maintain digital media library.
  • Work with staff and contractors to develop and implement social networking strategies, develop content, and monitor and respond to inquiries.
  • Manage website, LinkedIn, and blog, including maintaining integrity of website content and structure, monitoring and reporting on key metrics from Google Analytics, and utilizing Search Engine Optimization.
  • Manage and execute email communications program, including quarterly e-newsletters, campaign messages, and fundraising e-appeals.
  • Manage merchandise program, including design, orders, promotion, and inventory.
  • Assist with fundraising and outreach events.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience working in mental health, addiction, and/or human services in relation to marketing.
  • Skills: Proficient inMS Office, Google platforms, Adobe Creative Suite. Advanced knowledge of social media and experienced in graphic design and website management. Self motivated and able to work with minimal oversight. Excellent time management and organizational skills; outstanding verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented and efficient. Knowledge of non-profit and mental health/addiction industry a plus.
