SUMMARY:

The Clinical Supervisor of Behavioral Health for Justice Involved (Part-time/20 hours per week) will primarily be responsible for the clinical supervision of the BH-JI programs, CSP-JI and the possibility of additional CSP services and all involved operations to ensure programmatic quality and integrity. The Program Manager will serve supervisor for BH-JI navigators. The Program Manager will support the Director in management of the behavioral health justice involved operations in all locations to ensure programmatic quality and integrity.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support, supervision, and oversight of care management professionals, within the community and correctional facilities.
  • Review operational procedures to identify needs and problems. Develop recommendations for problem solutions.
  • Ensures that BH-JI/CSP teams meet all related policies, procedures, training, meetings, and supervision.
  • In conjunction with program director provide coordination with justice entities (including House of Correction, Probation, Parole and Drug Court) and all outpatient and community partners.
  • Provide direct and regular supervision of BH-JI/CSP navigators. To include other team members as deemed appropriate.
  • Identify key processes and lead change initiatives to achieve service excellence. Work with managers and staff to incorporate quality and process improvement methodology in the performance of their work and to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of patient care and services.
  • Create an environment where potential safety and clinical risks are identified and proactively addressed before a problem occurs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans, visions, goals and objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures and organizational structure for all BH-JI.
  • Plan, direct, monitor and evaluate daily operations to assure that BH-JI and Southeast Community Partnership provides high quality services, consistent with contracting specifications and in accordance with the QM Plan.
  • Participate in professional outreach activities to further develop community partnerships, potential referral sources and the growth of the programs.
  • Ensure compliance and work in conjunction with standards pertaining to credentialing agencies such as, The Joint Commission and Department of Public Health.
  • Work in collaboration with the care teams, identify appropriate level of care, and provide additional professional supports for patients as needed.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, Experience, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

  • Education: Master’s degree in business or healthcare related field.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience. Two (2) years of experience in Behavioral Health and/or substance abuse treatment. Two (2) years of experience in community-Based care management, or hospital-based social work preferred. Two (2) years of experience in community outreach preferred.
  • Skills: Management or supervisory skills required. Knowledge of patient treatment plans/care plans.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: LICSW or LMHC required.
