Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate power tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Dig trenches and install irrigation systems
- Trim trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and health
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides to promote healthy plant growth
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Proficiency in operating power tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
- Ability to identify common plants, trees, and shrubs
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation
