Litigation - Case Assistant (In-Office)

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has an excellent opportunity for a full-time (in-office) Litigation Case Assistant in our Chicago office. The Litigation Case Assistant works under the direction of the Office Managing Partners, Practice Group Leader and/or Partners in preparing matters for hearing, trial, arbitration or mediation.

Responsibilities include support to legal secretaries and paralegals. Creating exhibit copies, organizing/filing electronic documents, docket/calendar, sorting mail, processing invoices, backup front desk coverage, and other tasks/projects as assigned.

Qualifications

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment with excellent communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Ability to work independently and willing to help others as needed

· Problem-Solving skills, including flexibility to complete tasks as required by clients and/or counsel

· Law firm experience preferred

· Knowledge of iManage and Chromeriver is a plus

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

· College degree preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
