Position Description:
Under supervision, the Mechanic is responsible for routinely and accurately performing/addressing the following: autonomously troubleshoot, test, monitor, repair and maintain the building, brewing, packaging, refrigeration, plumbing, warehouse systems, and equipment, keeping production lines and systems operating safely and efficiently. Additionally, complying with all Safety Quality Food (SQF) System protocol as it applies to the employees specific job duties and the overall operations of the company. Additional responsibilities may include ordering and driving to pick-up parts; working directly with the brewing, quality control and packaging departments; and performing other duties as assigned and/or required.
The above noted duties are not intended to describe every task that may be assigned, but rather to provide a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of the position. As the nature of business demands change, so too may the duties of this position.
1. High School Diploma or GED
3. At least two (3) years of experience working on automated process equipment, preferably in the food or beverage manufacturing industry
5. Excellent communication (written & verbal) in English
6. Basic arithmetic, algebra and metric measuring abilities
