Our client is seeking an experienced Event Planner for their venue in the greater Louisville area. The ideal candidate will be energetic and possess a creative flair for event management, along with the ability to communicate with people on all levels.

Event Planner Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual salary between $62,000.00 – $70,000.00
• Bonus potential
• Health, dental, and vision insurance

• 401(k) with a company match

Event Planner Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Hospitality highly preferred
• At least three years of experience as an Event Planner in a hotel environment where event space is at least 20,000 square feet
• Highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Event Planner Responsibilities:

• Work directly with clients to plan events from inception to completion
• Support the sales team with contract details and cost estimates
• Help to plan seasonal menus
• Create banquet menus, floor plans, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Possess the ability to upsell as needed
